Caro Kelley has been an integral part of the Resident Alien Big Band for the past ten years. Joining first as a pianist, she soon took over the microphone with her powerful vocals and larger-than-life stage presence, becoming a much-loved member of the RABB and wider ESME e.V. family.

Caro has since built a successful career as a German-American soul-pop artist and multi-instrumentalist. Her genre-bending music combines soulful and jazzy vocals with bouncy pop melodies and an indie-rock attitude. Her debut album Playroom won five awards at the 2022 Deutscher Rock & Pop Prize, and her 2025 album QUIET explores the many meanings of finding—and losing—one’s voice.

For this one-of-a-kind concert, Caro and the RABB will bring these two sides of her musical journey together and will perform some of Caro’s favourite songs from their ten years together, alongside a selection of her own songs.
