Johanna Malangré’s earliest memories of music are getting her first piano lessons for Christmas at the age of three. Her parents also took her to classical concerts, where she became mesmerized by the sound of the symphony orchestra.

Johanna recently won the European MAWOMA Conducting Competition in Vienna. She was Assistant Conductor with the Bergische Symphoniker and Conducting Fellow at the Luzern Festival Academy.  In masterclasses, Johanna was coached by mentors like Bernard Haitink and Paavo Järvi.
