The start of the winter season is rapidly approaching. We hope everyone has had a restful summer break and we look forward to welcoming back our singers and instrumentalists for another productive season!

The TT Orchestra, under the direction of Daniel Stratievsky, will begin rehearsals for the winter concert on Monday, Sept. 10th, and the TT Singers, under the direction of Kristin Fehlauer, will start rehearsals on Wednesday, Sept. 12th. Both ensembles will rehearse at the Bavaria Musikstudios starting at 7:00 p.m.

This year, in addition to popular favorites of the Christmas season such as Santa Baby and Carol of the Bells, the TT Orchestra and Singers will also perform selections from Mozart’s Krönungsmesse (Coronation Mass).

Additionally, the Big Band will start rehearsals on Sunday, September 16th at the KreativGarage from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Singers and instrumentalists in the Munich area are welcome to sign up here to get more information. Or just show up and be ready to have fun, no audition necessary!

Are you an expat or local living in the Munich area, looking for a relaxed, amateur orchestra or energetic big band? Perhaps you want to sing and meet some new friendly faces?

We welcome all instrumentalists and singers, no auditions necessary!   We presently have an immediate need for:

  • male singers

Strings, particularly:

  •   viola, cello, violin (I + II)

We also have vacancies in the orchestra for

  • French horn
  • Trombone
  • Alto Saxophone
  • Bass Clarinet
  • Tuba
  • Percussionists

and in the big band

  • jazz pianist
  • bass player
  • trombonists

We perform two joint concerts a year. Rehearsals are on Mondays for the orchestra, Wednesdays for the singers, Sundays (and every other Thursday) for the big band and monthly Thursdays for string sectionals/chamber music.

ESME has moved to a new web site in order to provide our members, family, and friends more features while simplifying the work behind the scenes.

Members will benefit first: a streamlined music management system will allow you to get music updates more quickly.
